About the Project

In mid-2010, I stumbled upon the Day Zero website, the self-professed home of the "1001 Day Project". After reading through a few lists on an otherwise boring afternoon, I felt that I should jump on the proverbial bandwagon and create my own list of 101 tasks to complete in 1,001 days. This seemed like the perfect way to motivate me to travel to new places, explore new possibilities, take up new hobbies and expand my horizons.

Here is what Michael Green, the man behind the Day Zero Project, has to say about the project :

A unique challenge that inspires you to set and achieve your personal goals in life.

What better way to combat boredom than to set yourself some goals and make the effort to accomplish them? Setting myself a list of 101 tasks to complete in 1,001 days has given me the incentive to do something other than play games on Facebook or spend endless hours browsing the web. After all, there is much more to life than reading articles on Wikipedia or beating your own high scores on Bejeweled.
